Can a magnet DESTROY your smartphone?

The kids grabbed our magnet tiles and built a whole coin path straight down the front of the fridge, ending in a little triangle catch at the bottom. The goal was to get a coin from the top all the way down into that triangle. Then we pushed it further, how many coins could we stack into it before the weight finally won and the whole thing collapsed? We tested quarters, dimes, nickels, pennies, all of it.
